This article presents a few basic points. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-9-e-1010-color has-text-color\" id=\"block-4c6fc14f-bbb4-4e6c-b8e5-5b25c5218204\"><strong>The Muslim Brotherhood was born in reaction to a dramatic observation  <\/strong><\/h2><style>#block-4c6fc14f-bbb4-4e6c-b8e5-5b25c5218204 h2, #block-4c6fc14f-bbb4-4e6c-b8e5-5b25c5218204 h3, #block-4c6fc14f-bbb4-4e6c-b8e5-5b25c5218204 h4, #block-4c6fc14f-bbb4-4e6c-b8e5-5b25c5218204 h5 , #block-4c6fc14f-bbb4-4e6c-b8e5-5b25c5218204 { color: #9e1010; }<\/style>\n\n<p>By the beginning of the <sup>20th<\/sup> century, Islam had ceased to dominate the world:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The abolition of the Ottoman Caliphate after the <sup>1st<\/sup> World War,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the creation of nation-states on the territories he had administered,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>replacing Sharia law with Western-inspired legal systems and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jewish immigration to Palestine sounded the death knell for the Arab-Muslim world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-9-e-1010-color has-text-color\" id=\"block-6b55dada-218d-417d-b7eb-8d0c96249a6a\"><strong>Some Middle Eastern intellectuals believed that the renaissance of their countries would require the adoption of Western values and political regimes. In 1928, Hassan al-Banna opposed what he saw as an absolute betrayal of Islam. <\/strong><\/h2><style>#block-6b55dada-218d-417d-b7eb-8d0c96249a6a h2, #block-6b55dada-218d-417d-b7eb-8d0c96249a6a h3, #block-6b55dada-218d-417d-b7eb-8d0c96249a6a h4, #block-6b55dada-218d-417d-b7eb-8d0c96249a6a h5 , #block-6b55dada-218d-417d-b7eb-8d0c96249a6a { color: #9e1010; }<\/style>\n\n<p>For him, the salvation of the Arab-Muslim world could only come from<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>of a vigorous and complete return of Muslim populations to Islam,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a return to guardianship of Jews living in Muslim countries,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>of regaining control of Palestine and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the outright extermination of the Jews from the moment the Brotherhood allied itself with the Nazi regime.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-9-e-1010-color has-text-color\" id=\"block-2125f1a9-1667-4997-91ad-fda6229ad31c\"><strong>Among the Qur&#8217;anic concepts that define the current objectives of the Muslim Brotherhood, two are absolutely fundamental:<\/strong><\/h2><style>#block-2125f1a9-1667-4997-91ad-fda6229ad31c h2, #block-2125f1a9-1667-4997-91ad-fda6229ad31c h3, #block-2125f1a9-1667-4997-91ad-fda6229ad31c h4, #block-2125f1a9-1667-4997-91ad-fda6229ad31c h5 , #block-2125f1a9-1667-4997-91ad-fda6229ad31c { color: #9e1010; }<\/style>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Islam is a totalizing system that legislates all aspects of life: worship, faith, state, homeland, government, nation, power, law, justice, education, culture, army and jihad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Islam is the religion of all mankind since, according to its teachings, people are born Muslims before life&#8217;s circumstances lead them astray towards other religions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n<p>Today, wherever they have a foothold in the world, the Brothers are pursuing a fundamental mission: to Islamize host societies and bring together Muslims from the West, Arab countries and the rest of the world to establish a global caliphate in which Jews and Christians would regain their &#8220;submissive&#8221; (dhimmi) status, a prerequisite for world peace.<\/p>\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-9-e-1010-color has-text-color\" id=\"block-f216b70a-eea9-41ae-973a-6c883ae74226\"><strong>To achieve their goals in the West, the Muslim Brotherhood uses several methods:<\/strong><\/h2><style>#block-f216b70a-eea9-41ae-973a-6c883ae74226 h2, #block-f216b70a-eea9-41ae-973a-6c883ae74226 h3, #block-f216b70a-eea9-41ae-973a-6c883ae74226 h4, #block-f216b70a-eea9-41ae-973a-6c883ae74226 h5 , #block-f216b70a-eea9-41ae-973a-6c883ae74226 { color: #9e1010; }<\/style>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the Islamic veil, a sign of the subjugation of women, which they present as an expression of their freedom in the West<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the request to teach the Koran to Muslim primary school pupils<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hallal meals in school canteens to differentiate Muslim children from others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the accusation of Islamophobia, which intentionally confuses criticism of a religion with rejection of its followers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>anti-Semitic propaganda blaming Israel for the plight of the Palestinians<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>infiltration of the media, educational institutions, political parties, inter-religious dialogue groups&#8230;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and a host of demands designed to separate Muslims from the rest of the population.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div><\/div>\n\n<figure><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"La Confr\u00e9rie des Fr\u00e8res musulmans\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8g0GDZmuqAo?start=12&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; }<\/style>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If the precepts of Islam are indeed anti-Semitic and racist, why does the Confederation allow them to be taught to children in mosques?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the veil is a sign of the degradation of women and their subordination to men, why is it tolerated for primary school pupils?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If Hamas has been banned in Switzerland because of its anti-Semitic ideology and terrorist activities, why isn&#8217;t the Muslim Brotherhood, which supports Hamas and has provided it with its doctrine, subject to the same ban?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the Centre suisse islam et soci\u00e9t\u00e9 (CSIS) claims to &#8220;foster academic discussion of societal issues from a Muslim perspective&#8221;, how can it achieve this academic objective if its advisory board includes members openly close to the Muslim Brotherhood?
